Description: An opportunity to take Improv Foundation 1 and Improv Foundation 2 back-to-back in the same term at a lower combined price. Improv Foundation 1 is where it all begins! Get introduced to the basic skills and concepts of improvisation, and how to cultivate a 'Yes, And' attitude for life in a relaxed and supportive environment. Then Improv Foundation 2 builds on the skills introduced in Improv 1, but with a particular focus on action, making the moments matter to the characters having them, and starting into the essence of the scenes.

Goal: To become familiar with Improv vocabulary and execute basic scenes through games and drills. And then to build on the skills introduced in Improv Foundation 1 with particular focus on action and stakes.

Prerequisite: No prior experience required.

Class Size: 10-12 depending on location.

Duration: 24 total hours with an 8 week format (3 hours/class) taken consecutively.
