James Mastraieni
James is the founder of The Shared Experience, an improv focused theatre and training centre in Los Angeles. In the last two decades, he's worked regularly as a performer, teacher, and director with the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, iOWest, and Second City. James has over 20000 hours of teaching under his belt and has coached such performers as Carl Tart (SNL), Laci Mosely (iCarly), and many DropoutTV regulars - including Jacob Wysocki, Vic Michaelis, and Kimia Behpoornia. He's also worked extensively as a comedy writer, including projects with Comedy Central and Funny Or Die.
With The Shared Experience, James produces the popular LA improv show Sunset Social - which has featured such performers as Lauren Lapkus (Orange Is The New Black), Bobby Moynihan (SNL), Tim Baltz (The Righteous Gemstones), Rekha Shankar (Dropout TV), and Seth Morris (Curb Your Enthusiasm).
