Description: This class is all about shortform improv games for both fun and performance. Play a variety of improv games, learn techniques to maximize their comedic potential, and build your overall shortform improv skillset. Bad Dog has been producing Toronto's best shortform improv shows for decades - from our Community Bucket Show to Theatresports, Toronto's longest running improv show. So students will enjoy both the fun of play and the fun of putting it on stage!

Goal: To build on the skills from Improv Foundations 1-4 with a focus on shortform games and techniques. Students will also have an opportunity to perform a shortform class set on stage.

Prerequisite: Improv Foundations 4 or equivalent
Class Size: 10 people max.
Duration: 12 hours total. with either 6 week (2 Hrs/Class), 5 week (2.5 Hrs/Class), or 4 week (3 Hrs/Class) schedule. See section details.
