Advanced Improv: Genre & Style (w/ Nicole Passmore)
Description: Explore the fun of improvising within genre! In this class, students will learn strategies to emulate the iconography and narrative conventions of established genres through improv. Students will leave with a better knowledge of how to use genre as a tool for better improvised storytelling and build a skillset to play within their favourite film, television, and literature styles.
Goal: To better understand how to incorporate established genres and styles into improvised performance using verbal, physical, and narrative strategies.
Prerequisite: Improv Foundation 4 or equivalent.
Class Size: 10 people max
Duration: 5 weeks x 2.5 Hours
