TV Series Development Bootcamp - Level 2 - Writing An Original Pilot

CA$325.00

Description: This course is designed to empower writers with developed concepts for a TV series in creating their own original pilot script. Starting with a completed beat sheet, outline, or rough draft for the pilot episode they bring to their first class, students will create a full pilot episode script with the support of their instructor. Delivered in the form of a writers workshop, the instructor will provide each student individual guidance to take their idea to the next level. Since each student may write at different paces, the class is intended to meet each student where they are to help them reach their own “next level”.

Goal: To develop an existing concept into a completed script that best reflects it’s creative potential under the guidance of an instructor within a writers workshop structure.

Prerequisite: Completion of TV Development Level 1 OR an equivalent level of concept development. Students should have a completed beat sheet, outline, or rough draft of their original series pilot prior to their first class meeting in order to take full advantage of the course. (If a student is interested but hasn’t done prior development of their series concept, we recommend our TV Development Level 1 class)

Class Size: 10 max
Duration: 5 weeks, 12.5 hours total
Cost: $325+HST
