We are so excited to be moving into Mirvish Village. In 2027, Bad Dog will open its doors in a beautifully restored heritage home at 590 Markham Street.
For over 45 years, Mirvish Village has been an enclave of art and culture, and it is a joy to become part of its next chapter.
A huge thank you to Omer Shamir, our real estate agent and community member, who worked tirelessly to make this happen, along with the Behar Group team: Rami Kozman, Noelle Goulding, and Avi Behar. We could not have done this without you. Thank you Megan Mackeigan for holding our hand through the lease process and walking us through it.
A special shout-out to our wonderful Board of Directors, whose leadership and guidance have paved the way for this historic move for Bad Dog Theatre. Thank you to Erin Conway, Meagan Crump, Arun Kirupananthan, Natasha Malloch, Damien Nelson, Bobby Umar and Dalia Vainer.
Once again, thank you to Councillor Dianne Saxe and Toronto City Council for providing the support needed to transform this heritage home into Toronto’s premier improv theatre. We are so excited to make you laugh in 2027.
A continued thank you as well to our Community Clubhouse donors. More information and a special invitation are headed your way shortly!
