ABOUT THE WORK EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The Bad Dog Work Exchange Program involves a fixed weekly shift in exchange for complimentary improv classes at Bad Dog. We ask for a minimum three-month commitment to ensure consistency and community connection.

As a Work Exchange Team Member, your responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting and assisting students and audience members

  • Providing information about our classes, shows, and pricing

  • Supporting with box office, ticketing, and class sales

  • Assisting with class or show setup

  • General administrative support

  • Light cleaning and studio maintenance (lobby, classroom)

  • Restocking supplies and keeping common areas tidy

  • Arriving on time and being ready to help where needed

  • Representing Bad Dog with professionalism and warmth

  • Attending monthly check-ins (virtual or in-person)

We value professionalism, consistency, and collaboration—but we also believe in having fun while we work. If you're passionate about improv, enjoy working behind the scenes, and want to be part of a vibrant creative community, we’d love to have you on the team!

Work Exchange participants can go on to become front-of-house staff, tech operators, teaching assistants, performers, producers, and collaborators on special events and shows. It’s a meaningful first step into the world of comedy, performance, and community-building at Bad Dog.
