SwordPlay: A Play of Swords | Comedy on Queen Street

  • Assembly Theatre 1479 Queen Street West Toronto, ON, M6R 1A1 Canada (map)

"Inspired, imaginative and first-rate coemdic theatrical magic."
- My Entertainment World

A swashbuckling adventure comedy where no plot is untwisted, no bad guy unstabbed, and no chandelier unswung!

Starring Conor Bradbury, Julian Frid, Lowen Morrow, Seann Murray and Sharjil Rasool

Toronto-based comedy company Sex T-Rex remounts their most beloved and acclaimed one-act show, SwordPlay: A Play of Swords, as part of Bad Dog Theatre's Comedy on Queen Festival at Assembly Theatre!

SwordPlay is a loving parody of the swashbuckling genre mixed with retro video games, drawing on The Princess Bride, The Three Musketeers, Game of Thrones, Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy, to name a few.

So come join us this December and make thrilling fight scenes, puffy pants and more foam swords than five adults would reasonably need to put on a show a part of your holiday tradition.
