Rosh Abdullah (she/her)
Rosh Abdullah (she/her) is a Toronto based comedian, writer, and improviser. Rosh started her improv career in Melbourne, Australia in 2016 before moving back to her hometown and is currently performing on many stages across Toronto as well as teaching at Bad Dog Theatre. Rosh is a season 7 Bad Dog Featured Player, host of the current season of the Bad Dog Theatre Presents: 5 Things podcast and co-host of the comedy podcast BOYS! BOYS! BOYS!, and is the self-published author of the poetry books Really Big Kid and Sad Clown Paradox. When not on stage, you can find Rosh harassing the knights at Medieval Times on their historical accuracy.
PHATT al (he/they)
PHATT al (pronounced ‘fat al’) is a Dora and Juno nominated actor, MC, digital visual artist, director, song and sketch writer. He’s a Second City Mainstage alumnus. He was the band leading rapper of the Juno nominated NuFunk band ‘God Made ME Funky’. He (and/ or his voice) has appeared in various commercials, TV shows, and movies internationally. You may know him as the Juicy Fruit Man, or the voice of Wendy’s Canada, Rice Krispies Bars, OLG, and Eggo Waffles. He was a featured performer at the NBC Universal Second City Break Out Comedy Festival in Chicago. Al is also a recipient of the Second City’s Bob Curry Fellowship and Bad Dog Theatre’s Creator program. Al is also the creator of ‘Yes Yes Y’all’ and ‘Check The Rhyme’, the only longform improv hip-hop classes in Canada, as well as a member of ‘The Untitled Black Sketch Project’ sketch troupe.
Tyra Banda (she/her)
Tyra got her start in comedy in 2014 when she joined the University of Alberta Improv Group, and her love of the art was immediate! From there, she performed in many improv festivals around the country, as well as internationally (Seattle Festival of Improv Theatre - 2019). She was part of Rapid Fire Theatre from 2017 to 2019, until moving to Toronto to pursue a diploma in Comedy Writing and Performance at Humber College. While in Toronto she was cast in a Season 7 Featured Players with Bad Dog Theatre, as well as Improv College's Narrative Mainstage Team. Tyra feels so lucky to teach with Bad Dog and loves every second of it!
Vance Banzo (he/him)
Vance Banzo is a Saulteaux/Cree comedian, actor, and writer born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Currently residing in Toronto, Ontario, Vance is a proud member of award-winning sketch comedy troupe and Series, TALLBOYZ. The second season of the series received three 2022 CSA nominations, winning in all categories. In addition to writing and starring in the series, he was also a contributing director in the third season. As a comedian he has performed on many stages across the country, including the Just For Laughs Toronto Festival and the Gchi Dewin Indigenous Storytelling Festival.
Racquel Belmonte (she/her)
Racquel Belmonte is a seasoned voice actor, improviser, sketch comedian, and pasta aficionado currently living in Toronto, by way of Vancouver, British Columbia. Though best known for her role in the Emmy award-winning cartoon series, The Dragon Prince, Racquel has voiced characters on My Little Pony, LEGO Elves, Dragalia Lost, and more. She frequently performed in a variety of sketch, improv, and variety shows around Vancouver, and has belonged to many ensembles over the years such as her current sketch comedy duo Carmelahhh, Nasty Women Comedy, Tightrope Theater, Blind Tiger Comedy’s sketch and improv house teams, Instant Theater, and VTSL’s Rookie League. She has performed in the Vancouver International Improv Festival, the Del Close Marathon in New York, the Upfront Theatre in Seattle, Rapid Fire Theatre in Edmonton, and in the Toronto Fringe Festival. Racquel is also one of the three creators and producers of SMASH Comedy Fest; a comedy festival and workshop series celebrating comedians who are not straight, white, cis dudes. Currently, you can catch Racquel performing in a variety of improv shows in Toronto, you can hear her if you listen closely to the radio or TV, or you can see her doing live panels and signing merch at fan conventions all over North America.
Shanda Bezic (she/her)
Shanda Bezic is an actor, director and coach based in Toronto. Her directed works have toured around the world. As an actor you can see Shanda in Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), American Gods (Starz), and in the upcoming series Culprits (Disney+) and Accused (FOX). She is the co-founder of the renowned clown duo The Sensationals. Bezic has studied extensively the Lecoq pedagogy (teacher certificatied), physical theatre, clown/masque, devised work, classical theatre, and on camera acting. Shanda's passion is facilitating the creative process, unlocking practical and imaginative techniques through play, authenticity and the body.
Leigh Cameron (she/her)
Leigh Cameron is an award winning actor, writer, comedian and alumna of the Toronto Second City MainStage. She’s headlined festivals across North America with her sketch and improv duo The Bloody Marys. Her Fringe credits include Generally Hospital (Director, 2018), 32 Short Sketches about Bees (2017) & Tales of Whoa! (2013). Leigh works frequently in voice over and a selection of her credits includes: Ollie’s Pack, The Remarkable Mr. King, Rusty Rivets, Gary and His Demons & My Little Pony. Most recently Leigh appeared as Phoebe in Canstage’s Dream in High Park production of As You Like It.
Edward Choi (he/him)
Edward Choi is a Toronto-based improviser and has been featured in numerous comedy festivals and theatre productions, including: Detroit Improv Festival, Palm Beach Improv Festival, Highwire Improv Festival, World’s Greatest Improv Festival, Asian & Funny, and All of Our Parents Are Asian. Notable programs and theatres where Edward studied improvisation include: Upright Citizens Brigade, The Second City Conservatory, Bad Dog Studio Series, and World’s Greatest Improv School. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario.

Alfred Chow (He/Him)
Alfred Chow is an improviser based out of Toronto. He has been a teacher at different improv schools around the city, has led corporate workshops, and has taught workshops overseas. He has performed internationally in cities such as Chicago (USA), Uppsala (SWE), Oslo (NOR), Sydney (AUS), Brisbane (AUS), Baltimore (USA), Bangkok (THA), and Miami (USA). When in Toronto he produces and performs in the hit show “All of us are Asian”, which runs several times a month at various venues across the city.
Ti Malik Coleman (he/him)
Ti Malik Coleman fell into the cult of improv over ten years ago and has not been seen in the regular world since. He is a Black trans performer with heavy experience of making space for himself and others on stage. As a performer with Baltimore Improv Group, he was in several house troupes before co-founding Casually Dope. Casually Dope (first Minority Re’port) has performed and featured in many cities, including Chicago, New York, Toronto and Calgary; and has been a very loud voice for the underheard and underrepresented on stage.
Ti Malik is also a sought after teacher and performer. He taught core and advanced classes with Baltimore Improv Group and Maryland Improv Group. He is a frequent guest instructor for Bad Dog Theater, winning Favorite Guest Instructor in 2020. They have taught classes and workshops to a number of theaters around the country, and in Canada and London. He also teaches applied improv to corporations and foundations. His deepest love is working with young people, he has taught improv in many schools and works with organizations to bring improv to youth of all access levels.
Also has a special affinity for short form. His first house troupe for BIG was Plan B improv, a storied short form group in Baltimore. There, he developed his love of game and speed and still applies it to his current long form performance. As a part of The Fam, he won Toronto’s 2021 Globehead competition and in 2019 was a 13 time Deathmatch champ with Three The Hard Way.

Filipe Dimas (he/him)
Filipe Dimas is a writer and comedian whose work can be found on The Beaverton, The Leafs Nation, and Air Canada’s enRoute Magazine. As an improviser, he’s been a featured performer at a number of comedy festivals while opening for Tim Meadows and Paul F. Tompkins. While his producer credits include co-creating hit alternative comedy showcase “The Disaster” and its spinoff year end marathon “Disasterfest.”
Jennifer Ferris (she/her)
Jennifer Ferris hails from the east coast and is sure to let that maritime spirit shine through. She has worked as an improv instructor for over a decade teaching students young and old from across Canada. Her passion for improv and the impact that it can have is a driving force behind her work. Jenn also works with the Canadian Improv Games as a Trainer and Regional Producer
Florian François (he/him)
Florian François is a bilingual actor, improviser and writer.
His improv experience includes many festivals and tournaments around Ontario and Quebec, most notably with his duo DaFlo and the Francophone troupe Les Improbables. He graduated from the LongForm Conservatory Program at Second city and the Narrative Studio Series at Bad Dog and he has been teaching improv across the country for 6 + years.
As a film and TV actor, Florian has starred in series such as 'Le Bonheur', 'Good Witch', or 'Mayday', commercials, and many short feature length films and series including: 'Quebexit', 'Titan Down' or 'La Switch'. In 2017, Bell Media picked up his series Rencontres, which was adapted from the award-winning short film Rencontre. With his co producer Brennan Martin, he wrote, produced, and starred in the 10-episode series.
Kyah Green (they/them)
Kyah Green (they/them) is a screenwriter, narrative designer and actor from Toronto, Ontario. They graduated with honours from Ryerson University’s Film Studies program where they studied film production with an emphasis on screenwriting. They are best known for their work on Canadian Screen Award winning comedy, Corner Gas; Animated and their performance in CBC Gem’s ‘Queens’. The feature film they are co-writing with Rodrigo Barrisuo (Un Traductor), was selected for the Cannes Festival Residence, Inside Out Development Program and recently made it to the quarter finals of the Academy Nicholls Fellowship.
Ken Hall (he/him)
Ken Hall is a Canadian Comedy Award Winner (Best Breakout Artist) and multiple CCA award nominee, including most recently, Comedic Artist of the Year. Ken plays the lovable Herb and provides motion capture as the body of Pogo in Netflix's THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY.
Ken is also is one-half of the critically acclaimed comedic duo 2-MAN NO-SHOW with his comedic soulmate, Isaac Kessler, and has had the pleasure to work for CIRQUE DE SOLEIL.
Ken has appeared in numerous film and television roles including two seasons on TBS’s hit series PEOPLE OF EARTH and has appeared as a guest on CONAN and most recently performed in Canadian Stage's Shakespeare adaptation of 'As You Like It' for the Dream In High Park series.
Ken teaches Comedic On-Camera Acting, Clownprov and Mindfulness at Bad Dog Theatre, Clown and Public Speaking at The Second City, and improv at The Assembly and The Social Capital Theatre in Toronto.
Ken was recently awarded the Frank McAnulty Award for Faculty Instructor of the Year 2019 at The Second City."
Devon Henderson (she/her)
Devon is a Toronto-based writer and improviser. Her Bad Dog credits include Theatresports, Toronto I Love You, Playlist, The Early Show, and The Rat King. Her comedy duo, TwoSon, wrote and performed the critically-acclaimed An Evening with Devon & Jackie at the 2022 Toronto Fringe. Devon is currently a member of The Second City’s National Touring Company. Her other Second City credits include Improv Showdown and Take Me Out to the Improv: Spooky Edition. Daphney Joseph (she/her)
Daphney Joseph is bilingual actor, comedian and writer originally from Montréal. She is alumna of the Second City Education Company and the Bad Dog Theatre’s Featured Players.
Her comedy duo, Coko & Daphney, have performed in festivals like Harbourfront's BRAVE Festival 2018, Chicago Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, DCM (New York) and many more. In 2015, she joined the French Improv troupe Les Improbables . She’s also part of the French comedy duo DaFlo, a sketch & improv duo. They have performed at Montreal SketchFest with the troupe Boubbi-Trappe. Daphney has also done stand-up at YukYuks for The Nubian Show, Absolute Comedy, The SheDot Festival, SHADE, and Yas Kween. She has also appeared in Private Eyes (CityTv), Baronness Von Sketch (CBC) and Pranks (TFO)
Andrea Marston (she/her)
Andrea Marston is a writer, comedian, and improv and sketch comedy teacher. She has understudied the Second City mainstage and was a part of the Bob Curry Diversity Showcase and the House Company. Andrea has performed and taught in festivals across North America including Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Zoofest at Off JFL, Combustion, and more. She now performs and teaches regularly at Bad Dog Comedy Theatre where she started off as a Season 2 Featured Player. Seann Murray (he/him)
Seann is an actor, puppeteer and improviser from Fredericton, N.B. where he started his career with Theatre Free Radical and the NotaBle Acts Festival. Since moving to Toronto and graduating from George Brown’s Performing Arts program, he’s had the pleasure of working with such companies as Soulpepper, Shakespeare in the Ruff, and Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. Seann is a technician and teacher at Bad Dog Comedy Theatre, a stage manager at Second City in Toronto and the principle writer for for multi-award-winning comedy troupe Sex T-Rex. He wrote his honours thesis on how students learn literary genres, and now applies that theory on stage with pretend explosions.
Nicole Passmore (she/her)
Nicole Passmore is a Vancouver-born, Toronto-based improviser, sketch comedian, and actor. She is an alumna of the Second City National Touring Company, a performer and teacher at the Bad Dog Theatre Company, and a member of the award-winning sketch troupe The Sketchersons. She has been featured in festivals across North America, including JFL (Montreal), Improvaganza (Edmonton), Combustion (Toronto), VIIF (Vancouver), Stumptown (Portland), Out of Bounds (Austin), and the Detroit Improv Festival. Her TV credits include Umbrella Academy (Netflix), Popularity Papers (YTV), Bit Playas (CBC), Pinkalicious & Peterrific (PBS), and Doomlands (Roku). And like all comedians, she has a podcast- Self Hell with Nicole and Bita!
Kirsten Rasmussen (she/they)
Kirsten Rasmussen is an award winning comedian, actor and writer. Her acting can be seen in Schitt’s Creek (CBC), The Beaverton(Comedy), TallBoyz (CBC), Odd Squad (PBSkids), Dino Dana (PBSkids), Bit Playas (CBC Gem), Band Ladies (Highball TV), Give Me Five (CME). She is the star of the digital series Slo Pitch (IFC). Her writing credits include The Snoopy Show (Apple Plus) and This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC), Because News (CBC), The Irrelevant Show (CBC), Healing From Heartbreak (YOUTUBE). Kirsten won the Canadian Comedy Award (CCA) for Best Improviser in 2015 and was also nominated for the same award in 2014. She won the 2019 CCA for Best Ensemble with Second City Toronto’s hit show She The People, and the 2019 CCA for Best Production for Extravaganza Eleganza, an all queer sketch comedy revue which Kirsten directed. Kirsten is an alumna of Second City Toronto mainstage company where she wrote and starred in three reviews. Kirsten has taught improv and sketch for over 15 yrs all over Canada. She now teaches at Bad Dog Theatre and directs the Touring company at Second City Toronto.
Ryan Sheedy (he/him)
Ryan is an actor, improviser, and instructor based out of Toronto from Calgary, Alberta. In addition to teaching improv at The Second City Training Center & Bad Dog Comedy Theatre, and being an alumni of The Second City House Company, Ryan has performed improv in the Carribean with BeerProv on the MSC Seaside, has been featured in Bad Dog Theatre Company's Season 3 Featured Players & Globehead, Big City Improv Festival, Improvaganza 2015 & 2019 (Rapid Fire Theatre), and every sleepy hour of The Kinkonauts' 26-Hour Improv Marathon. You can catch him recurring in Season 16 of CBC's Murdoch Mysteries as Constable Evans!

Christian Smith (he/him)
Christian Smith is an Actor, Writer, Sketch Comedian, Improviser and two time Canadian Comedy Award winner from Toronto with over 12 years of sketch comedy experience. Christian is one half of the sketch/improv troupe Soul Decision (JFL, JFL42 & Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival - Best of the Fest 2017). He's performed and taught all across North America and his digital sketch comedy series, Soul Decision Comedy is featured on the CBC.
Marcel St. Pierre (he/him)
Marcel St. Pierre is a co-founder, alumnus and former Artistic Director of the Bad Dog Theatre Company. An award-winning writer, producer and improvisor, Marcel has performed sketch, stand-up and improv across North America with groups like The Second City (Toronto) and the Canadian Comedy-Award winning Monkey Toast. He currently performs with other Bad Dog founding members in "the world's oldest and stupidest" improv troupe, The Coincidence Men.
Alessandra Vite (she/her)
Alessandra Vite is a comedic writer based in Toronto. She began her career improvising with The Second City and was a member of their National Touring Company.
She went on to write for the popular CBC Radio show “Because News”, and wrote for the 27th season of “This Hour Has 22 Minutes”.
Alessandra is a seasoned sketch writer and performer, being the head writer and performer of the Canadian Comedy Award-winning sketch troupe “The Sketchersons”.
She has also performed at JFL42 with her award-winning sketch troupe “The Flirty Boys”. She was also featured in the Montreal Just For Laughs festival with her Sonar Network-produced podcast, “Shh… I’m Watching A Movie”.

Gavin Williams (he/him)
Gavin Williams is an improviser and actor currently living in Toronto. Born and raised in London, he studied improvised theatre at Calgary's Loose Moose Theatre under the teachings of Denis Cahill and Keith Johnstone, where he fell in love with the art form. In 2012 he moved to Toronto where he can now be found performing and teaching with the Bad Dog Theatre Company, and is a fixture at live comedy shows such as Theatresports, Two Strikes and Superscene. He regularly teaches improv workshops and classes in the spirit of Keith Johnstone's improvisation style. In addition to improvised theatre, he has performed in a variety of TV shows, including "Murdoch Mysteries", "Schitt's Creek", and "Kim's Convenience".
Callum Wratten (he/him)
Callum Wratten is a Canadian Screen Award nominated writer and performer. He has written for CBC, McSweeney's, Funny or Die and The Beaverton. He has performed at Bad Dog Theatre, Big Fork Theatre in Brisbane, and Toronto Sketchfest.
Anders Yates (he/him)
Anders Yates is an improviser, actor and writer originally from Montreal. He is a founding member of the improv and sketch comedy troupe Uncalled For, and has also been a member of the comedy/dance company Dance Animal, the queer improv troupe Kinsey Fail and the Second City Touring Company. He has performed in numerous flagship shows at Bad Dog, including Throne of Games, La Grande Jatte and Toronto, I Love You. Recent stage credits include the Off-Mirvish production of the Tony Award winning Oslo (Studio 180) and the world premiere of Shove It Down My Throat (Buddies In Bad Times/Pandemic Theatre). His screen work includes the films Indian Horse, Stockholm and Through Black Spruce, and he can be seen on TV in Nurses, Carter, Titans, Condor, Taken, Murdoch Mysteries and Helix, among others. He is a frequent contributor to the satirical news website The Beaverton.
