Description: This Studio Ensemble is an opportunity to learn shortform improv the Bad Dog way - from compelling scenework and crowd-pleasing games to hilarious hosting and professional producing. Bad Dog (and our predecessor Theatresports Toronto) have been producing Toronto’s best shortform for over 40 years and nearly every great improv trained performer to come out of Toronto since the early 80s has played and developed their talent on shows like Theatresports, Globehead, and other Bad Dog shortform productions. This Studio is all about how to create, perform, present, and produce shortform improv that connects with an audience and reflects your unique voice.
Goal: To develop the skills necessary for excellent shortform improv performance, develop new original games and formats, and create an excellent shortform presentation as an ensemble.
