Bad Dog Featured Players

The Bad Dog Featured Players program is designed to foster growth in our up-and-coming performers. Each season participants work exclusively with a series of veteran directors, and perform regularly in The Early Show on Saturday nights. The BDFP program is an exciting opportunity for improvisers to explore their creative voices and work closely with a cohort.

Our BDFP alumni have gone on to create their own shows, perform in Bad Dog marquee events, produce content for the CBC, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and The Beaverton.

Emerging Creators Unit

The Bad Dog Theatre Company is thrilled to announce the artists who will comprise our inaugural Emerging Creators Unit(ECU) and Artistic Director Apprenticeship (ADA). The ECU and ADA are new initiatives designed to nurture and support emerging directorial voices, arming them with the resources, tools and experience needed to create new unscripted work with confidence. It is our hope that this project will also create opportunities for emerging voices to assume the key creative roles vital in bringing new perspectives and experiences to the stage.
