What is it? Organically starting and maintaining stand-alone scenes. There’s a lot to do off the top of a scene; establish who, what and where; get your idea out; establish the game of the scene; heighten your scene partner’s idea. What if we just swept some of that away and built the scene organically, focusing on the basics of yes and, along with who, what and where. We will also focus on starting the scene with just a first move (one of who, what, where) rather than an idea. Some people are great at starting scenes with ideas off the top; others might not be as strong. It’s important to lean to trust yourself with just a move, instead of only ideas.
When is it? Wednesdays 5:3-7:30 PM | Nov. 7th-28th
Who is it for? This workshop is for performers with previous experience (Foundation 3+ or equivalent)
