Throne of Games

Bad Dog Theatre presents a 'Game of Thrones' inspired improv show! Unscripted comedy at Toronto's Comedy Bar!

Throne of Games

Inspired by George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones

Improv is comingagain! Fantasy meets funny as 30 of Canada’s most brilliant comedic performers pay a hilarious homage to George R. R. Martin’s bestselling medieval fantasy seriesA Song of Ice and Fire that spawned the HBO award-winning series Game of Thrones.

The Seven Kingdoms are awash in blood, as five rival factions vie for the Iron Throne. Meanwhile in the North, the Night’s Watch has moved beyond the Wall, into the unforgiving lands of depraved Wildlings and bloodthirsty White Walkers. In the East, across the sea, the last living member of the ancient Targaryen Dynasty, Daenerys Targaryen has become the proud mother of three real live dragons, the first after many centuries of extinction.

Fans of Game of Thrones and the uninitiated alike are sure to love this comical and unscripted interpretation directed by Montreal Fringe Festival favorite Colin Munch (Callaghan!, SPANK! The 50 Shades of Grey Parody) and featuring “an out of this world ensemble cast” (Blog TO). Performers will include Paul Bates (Dan For Mayor), Evany Rosen (Picnicface), Sarah Hillier (Canadian Comedy Award Winner, best female improviser), and Bruce Hunter (Puppets Who Kill).
