Team Wildcats

Bad Dog Theatre's weekly Theatresports show is Saturday night at Comedy Bar! The longest running unscripted comedy show in Toronto!

They came here to win. Or at least… play.
Peanuts, crackerjack and pubescent angst: Bad Dog’s newest unscripted comedy, Team Wildcats, is the feel-good story of a group of teen outcasts fighting for glory on the baseball field and respect in the locker room… of life.  Carrying on in the tradition of great underdog sports flicks like The Sandlot, Bad News Bears and Mr. Baseball, but taking a sassy turn somewhere between 90210 and the OC, Team Wildcats follows the improvised adventures of a high school baseball team hoping to win Regionals, get scouted for the Big Leagues and maybe, just maybe, make it to graduation.

Directed by Canadian Comedy Award winner Craig Anderson (Bad Dog Repertory Players, The Sunday Service) and built around a fresh, young cast including Connor Low (Micetro), and Jordan Moffatt (CRUSH improv) our unlikely heroes are supported each week by a stellar rotation of guest performers including Evany Rosen (Picnicface), Ennis Esmer (The Listener), Pat Smith (Sports Bar Heroes), Kyle Dooley (JFL42) and Conor Bradbury (Sex T-Rex).

They make it up on the fly, but they've got their bases covered.
