Studio pRESENTS: The Fall Series
What: A perfect companion (or precursor) to our performance series classes, Studio Presents: Fall Series is a three part intensive on Acting for Improvisers, Subtext & Subtlety, Character that applies the fundamentals of improvisation in a more advanced context. Each class stands alone, but together, they're an incredible bootcamp for looking to improv these improv skills to being a great improviser!

Acting for Improvisers w/ Shanda Bezic | Sundays 4-7pm | September 11th - October 2nd
Are you curious about how to make your improv game more compelling and playful? Do you ever get a script to audition with and feel your stomach tighten with nerves? Are you an improviser who loves well written theatre and film and wants to expand your skills? Acting for Improvisers is for you. Whether your just starting out, or have tons of stage time and want a new challenge this course will offer it all. Using physical theatre techniques and script analysis we will dive into everything from 2 liner film auditions to Beckett. Come play!
Subtext & Subtlety w/ Paloma Nunez| Sundays 4-7pm | October 23rd - November 13th
Due to it's hugely popular debut class in the Summer Series, we are bring back Subtext & Subtlety!
Improv doesn't have to be hard work. Using the non verbal communication skills you use everyday can help you with your improv skills! Start from nothing and build through truth and emotion. This workshop will help you with your "talkie thinkie" improv and get you in your body and trusting your instincts by using non verbal communication and assumptions.
Character w/ Rochelle Wilson| Sundays 4-7pm | November 20th - December 11th
Need a challenge? Always reverting back to the same safe characters on stage? Need to stretch your characters physical, emotional and status traits? Face fears and embrace new habits so that when you step on stage you have a more varied bag-o-characters. In this class you will work on 2 new characters. We will exaggerate their outlook, their emotions and learn to understand the passions and fears that drive them. Once we've explored enough we can tone them down into a more subtle version but still reactive.
Cost: $200/ class
