Hungry Hungry Games

An unscripted comedy showdown inspired by Suzanne Collins’ “The Hunger Games”

Fans of comedy and The Hunger Games alike with love Hungry Hungry Games, a live, unscripted and hilarious interpretation of Suzanne Collins’ international best-selling series that inspired the multi-million dollar blockbuster movie of the same name.  Featuring an all-star cast of six of Canada’s hottest young improvisers, the show combines the classic improv comedy games of shows like Theatresports and Whose Line is It Anyways? with the high-stakes bloodshed and teen angst of The Hunger Games. The result is a tight, theatrical comedy show with the outcome and fate of each player in the hands of the audience.

In each show, host Connor Thompson (Second City Tour Co) guides five players through a series of side-splitting games and scenes.  Their only hope of survival?  Winning the audience’s favour as they’re slowly voted out and the competition heats up.

Hungry Hungry Games is directed by Colin Munch, whose recent credits with the Bad Dog Theatre Company include the wildly successful Throne of Games, a comedic stage adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire.
