WHEDON IS BACK.

From the team that brought you the smash hit, Whedonesque, comes Whedonesque: For the Holidays.

Whedonesque: For the Holidays is an improvised re-imagining of three of Joss Whedon’s most beloved shows just in time for New Years. Director Darryl Pring has assembled the country’s most talented improvisers to help bring Joss Whedon’s iconic characters back to life. Starting at 8pm with Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, continuing at 9:00pm with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and ending with Firefly at 10pm, this promises to be an amazing night of yuletide comedy. With a cast full of Canadian Comedy Award winners, Whedonesque promises to engage both fans  Whedon’s work and newcomers alike.

Who will Dr. Horrible kiss as the ball drops? Find out at 8pm in this unscripted musical tribute to Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog including musical accompaniment by Jordan Armstrong. At 9 pm the incredibly popular Buffy The Vampire Slayer returns to the stage for an hour of unscripted comedy. Get ready for some of that beloved miraculous Sunnydale snow! Finally at 10pm another incredible cast join forces to pay homage to Whedon's cult classic Firefly. Following a similar narrative structure to show’s most beloved episodes, watch as these improvisers create new  stories and relationships with your favourite characters.
