The Bad Dog Repertory Players present: 63 South
The Canadian Comedy Award-nominated Repertory Players (BDRP) are the Bad Dog Theatre Company’s resident professional cast. Stacked with improv heavy-hitters hailing from all across Canada, the BDRP specializes in creating new formats that showcase Toronto & the Canadian experience (including: This Canadian Life, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION and Toronto, I Love You). In the past year, they’ve performed in Vancouver, Regina, Montreal, Ottawa, as part of NxNE & JFL42, and they were shortlisted as Best Improv Troupe in NOW magazine’s Best of Toronto Readers’ Choice Poll.
63 South is an unscripted serial conceived & designed for the Big City Improv Festival. A neighbourhood-centric web of improvised characters & stories set along the stretch of Ossington between Bloor and Queen St., 63 South features an unconventional narrative that allows each night’s episode to stand alone – but pays off in a big way for people who catch the show more than once.
